Weekly Devlog 2: Code Producer

- Set up a working digital prototype with core mechanics like movement.
- all goals have been accomplished during this past week.
- Implement more mechanics like spawning and AI enemy movement.
- I was able to remember how to implement the mechanics i worked with but i also learned of simpler ways of implementing them and using them in 2D which i had never done before.
- Add more tools to my repertoire and add at least 2 more game mechanics to the already started project.
- I just need time and read up the unity API so i can get more tools and ideas on implementing certain things.
Playtest Report
- Play tested the first digital prototype.
- That i should find easier ways of implementing the code i used so that it can be more understandable to other members of the group.
- I was the playtester because i was doing the coding so i needed to understand what was going wrong in my work before i let anyone else play.
- Everything was fine except for the movement speed, which i ended up fixing by normalizing the vectors.
- I asked myself how could i make this code simpler and still as effective.
- i have received no feedback at the moment.
- I learned that code can always be simpler and still be functional.
